Training seemed to be the next natural step in my own personal lash journey.

I started in the beauty industry in 2010 and was instantly drawn to eyelash extensions, they were my favourite treatment and I put my focus there. As fate would have it I ended up working from home and creating lashes by Lucy.

Over the past 9-10years of being a lash artist I had been asked every now and again if I could train certain people to either expand their lash training or learn for the first time. I always wrote it off thinking they should go somewhere more knowledgeable or ‘professional’.

After being asked in 2020 I took a hard look into what my next steps where in the industry and looked into what other training courses had to offer and what put them apart, what I found was a lot of similar courses all group settings and being taught for product sellers. It was at this point that I started believing in myself and what I had to offer. I was meeting what all these other courses were putting out there and then some. I’m still passionate about lashes, I’ve picked up tips and tricks along 9 years that arnt necessarily in the textbooks and I am so more than happy to pass these on and create better lash artist.

The standard

“hey can I book in for an infill, I got them done a week ago elsewhere but im not happy” I receive this on the daily and find myself fixing up work from reputable salons but due to the standard of work coming out at the rate this industry is growing, there are a lot of cowboys out there getting taught half assed and becoming certified, if I can produce a handful of lash artist who work to a standard much higher than this then I’m happy and have achieved what I set out to achieve.
